Who is it for?
Young people aged 12-19 with brothers or sisters receiving care at Hackney Ark
What’s it all about?
Discussing issues that concern you. Making friends and meeting people your age Using resources and playing games such as
Nintendo Wii etc.
Thinking about disability and how it affects you Getting things off your chest in a safe, non-judgemental environment
Why should I come?
It’ll be fun Chance to meet brothers and sisters like myself. You can help to make this club as good as you want it to be!

Harry Potter Studio
Come and spend Halloween with us at the Warner Brothers Studio. The Making of Harry Potter offers visitors the ultimate opportunity to step on to authentic sets, discover the magic behind spellbinding special effects and explore the behind-the-scenes secrets of the Harry Potter film series.
Places are on a first come first served basis.
We have 24 places available split as follows:
12 places for under 17 years with one carer only12 places for 18+ years.
The cost of this event is £10.00 per person.
Your place will not be secured until we have received your payment. You can either pay by cheque or bank transfer.

Hackney Annual Carers’ Conference 2014 Carers’ Quest – Reaching out to Carers
Do you provide unpaid care for:
- a family member, a partner or a friend?
- someone who is frail, ill, or disabled?
- someone who has a mental health issue?
- someone who has an addiction to alcohol or drugs?
…then this day is for you. Join us to celebrate the role of carers in Carers’ Week.
Hackney Annual Carers’ Conference 2014 > a free opportunity for carers to have a day out, meet other carers and find out about support and services available.

Queen’s Barton Relay Festival of sport
A Free Fun Day For All Ages!
When: Sunday 08th June, 09.30 – 5pm
Where: Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park
Join us on the Park on 08th June, to celebrate the arrival of the Queens Baton Relay as it makes its way to the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games – and be part of our festival of sport.
Sports sessions for all ages and abilities, dance workshops, street food stalls, a pop-up ballroom and much more!

Clive at artsdepot
Regular club night for young people with learning disabilities aged 13 – 25.
Our next Clive takes place on Saturday 19th July and we are celebrating the sunshine in style with a Summer Beach Party theme. Guests can enjoy all the usual favourites including the open-mic, dance floor, games room and chill-out zone. More info here: http://www.artsdepot.co.uk/music/clive-summer
The evening also features an interactive sound installation devised through a series of workshops, which are open to young people with learning disabilities and are free of charge.
