Play with others, make friends and feel included at Markfield’s play schemes and after school clubs for disabled and non-disabled children and young people.

We have different playschemes for children aged 5-12 and young people aged 11-19. Children at Markfield get to make decisions about what to do on playschemes by creating wish lists of activities and toys. Younger children might choose trampolining or get involved in projects with local artists. Young people might do grafitti or DJing workshops or go on trips. At after school and evening youth clubs you can socialise, relax, join in games, learn new skills and choose activities you enjoy.

Markfield’s clubs and playschemes are really popular and there is a waiting list for them. You can also come with your family to use our drop in play sessions. There are no waiting lists for these. Markfield is a community centre in Haringey which promotes the dignity, choice, and community inclusion of disabled people and their families. Families can get short breaks from caring, while their disabled family members are able to enjoy our leisure services. ”
